MEET THE TEAM
The next Spirit Yachts private view event will take place on Friday 17th and Saturday 18th September. Hosted at the yard in Ipswich, Suffolk on the east coast of the UK, the event is an opportunity for interested customers to view projects in build and go onboard yachts in the water, including the new Spirit 65DH (Deckhouse) and the Spirit 30.
Spirit Yachts Managing Director and Head of Operations Karen Underwood said, “With the ongoing uncertainty surrounding Covid, the private view is the perfect way for potential buyers to meet the team, and see first-hand the craftsmanship and creativity underway in the yard. We will have the newly launched Spirit 65DH, the Spirit 30 and a Spirit 76 brokerage yacht in the water, so there will be plenty to see.”
The event will mark the unveiling of the new Spirit 65DH (Deckhouse), a hybrid electric bluewater cruising yacht designed for family sailing in style. Also in the water will be the new, fully electric Spirit 30 day sailor.
Under construction in the Spirit yard will be an electric Spirit 44CR(e), a Spirit 68DH, and three Spirit 72DH yachts all at different stages of their builds.
Spirit Yachts Managing Director and Head of Production Mike Taylor commented, “As we are a custom boatbuilding yard, with design and naval architecture in-house, the private view event offers an opportunity to gain a good understanding of how we operate, and to watch the team creating stand-out yachts that are completely personalised to each owner.”
To book a private appointment to visit the yard during Friday 17th or Saturday 18th September, email enquiries@spirityachts.com or call +44(0) 1473 214 715.
